Dust is not theoretical.
It settles everywhere,
covering every living thing.
Bits of our skin, mingling with our pets' fur,
asphalt from the street, soil
from the garden, crumbs
from our last meal together.
Seen in a kindly light, you could say
it's a residual offering
from our discarded selves
To our current proffering.

And since I am allergic to dust, does this signify my difficulties with life in general?
Yes, Clarence, it does.
